Speaking the Language

Many times our communication encounters "static" because we use words that mean different things to different people.  Shooters commonly use words that non-shooters don't understand and sometimes we use one word of term, when we really mean another. The purpose of this column is to define some commonly used terms or phrases and help both the new and experienced shooter to eliminate that static that can interfere with our communication.
