The “Shooter's X-Ring” originally designed to dampen harmonics in rifle barrels has proven to be very effective in dampening harmonics in shotgun barrels as well. A shotgunner can gain from dampening those effects by installation of the X-Ring on the muzzle or even on the extended choke. It is important to make certain that the X-Ring is installed so that it does not protrude beyond the muzzle or the choke tube.
