SSSF Relocates Home Office to San Antonio

Activities and Exhibits

SAN ANTONIO, Texas- The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) has relocated its home-office administrative and financial operations from Maumee, Ohio to the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas.

Plans for the move were originally announced in March, with a long time-frame for the move to allow for new staff to be hired and trained and to ensure there was no interruption of services to its program participants.

"As the headquarters of the National Skeet Shooting Association and National Sporting Clays Association, the National Shooting Complex is a natural choice to house the SSSF's operations," said Louise Terry, Chairperson of the SSSF Board of Directors. "Since we are the largest feeder program for youth shooters to NSSA-NSCA, we envision this as a win-win relationship."

Ben Berka, SSSF President and Executive Director, added, "We are pleased to call the National Shooting Complex home for our headquarters operations. Housing our key administrative and financial operations alongside an established and mature shooting sports organization such as NSSA-NSCA will help us grow and give our home office perpetuity into the future."

For most contacts with the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and Scholastic Pistol Program (SPP), nothing has changed. For program-specific needs, participants and others may continue to contact the program staff as in the past. Contact information for all of those staff members remains unchanged.

Contact information for SSSF's home office and each program can be found on every page of our website at www.sssfonline.org.

SSSF's new home-office address and phone number are:

The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) is responsible for all aspects of the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and Scholastic Pistol Program (SPP) across the United States. SCTP and SPP are youth development programs in which adult coaches and volunteers use shooting sports to teach and to demonstrate sportsmanship, responsibility, honesty, ethics, integrity, teamwork, and other positive life skills. SCTP was developed as a program of the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) until the SSSF was created in 2007 to operate the SCTP. In 2012, SSSF created the SPP and became the managing foundation of both programs.
