Stealth Cam P12 Game Camera

Product Tests

The Stealth Cam P12 Game Camera is an affordable game camera with great features.  The P12 will take up to 6MP per triggering and can also record up to 15 seconds of video with sound to get a great idea of what is in your target area.  An external LCD status display helps you how many images you have captured with disturbing the mount.

Each image will display the time, date, moon phase, and temperature to give you an idea of the conditions for each image.  Time-lapse mode is featured to let you capture images at preset intervals rather than motion activated.  The P12 operates on eight (8) batteries or an external 12 power jack combined with up to a 32GB SD Card (not included).

I'll get right to the point, this is one great camera. It's takes excellent pictures, sharp and clear and it's priced right. This is one that you can afford and you can buy it with confidence.

In a very crowded market, with cameras claimng more and more "latest and greatest" features, the Stealth Cam P12 is a true winner. Maybe I should just stop here and I'm really tempted to do that but if would unfair to this fine product.

This is one camera that you can truly pull out of its package, put the required batteries in it, program it, hang it on a tree and go away...for a very long time. The energy conserving features built in it allows it to squeeze seemingly every last bit of current out of the batteries.

Stealth Cam does offer toll free field suport as well. That's a very nice feature but this camera is very simple to program and set up. I had mine in operation in just minutes from the time I opened the package.

I hung this camera out in our woods just before the worst rainy season we've had in years. Then it turned unseasonably cold, not cool but cold, at the time when Spring was supposed to arrive. We had days and days of cold wet weather. Then it turned unseasonably hot. Crazy weather for what is supposed to be Spring in Southern Illinois. Temperature extremes can be really tough on trail cameras but this one just kept on going day after day and week after week.

Great you say but what about the picture quality? It was excellent throughout the entire time I had it out. Pictures were sharp and clear at all times of day and night. I might also add that I saw no sign whatsoever of any wildlife being alarmed or even aware of having their picture taken.

This is one tough little camera. It just looks tough as well. It works, it's priced correctly and was included in the "Best New Trail Cameras of 2014" at the ATA Show earlier this year.

If you're in the market for a new trail camera, I'd highly recommend that you consider the Stealth Cam P12.
