Brett Favre to Host Petco’s Dogs2DogTags Video Series

(Atlanta, GA) ­— NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre is well-known as a fierce competitor, avid outdoorsman, and staunch supporter of the men and women of America’s armed forces, making him the perfect choice to host a new video series showcasing military veterans—4Outdoors Featuring Dogs2DogTags. Title sponsored by national pet retailer, Petco, 4Outdoors Featuring Dogs2DogTags debuts today on Outdoors.com—the premier digital content destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Outdoors.com is part of a digital distribution platform, which includes more than 300 websites reaching those passionate about the outdoors.

Favre believes American veterans need more support when returning home from service, which is a main reason why he started 4Outdoors—to help people and organizations in need connect with the outdoors. Favre, Outdoors.com, and 4Outdoors recently partnered with Petco to produce the multi-part video series chronicling non-profit Dogs2DogTags and their mission of training and pairing rescue dogs with military veterans at no cost.

The powerful, 21-part series will launch on Outdoors.com—the definitive digital destination for those with an unbridled passion for mud, air, fields, water and mountains. Each six-minute episode will highlight the matching of a specially-selected and trained rescue dog with a veteran in need, including the process of how the dogs are trained and how the new teams are paired. Episodes will also showcase the duos enjoying their favorite outdoor activities, such as hunting, hiking and swimming.
